Bienvenidos to our whale watching- Loreto Baja headquarters. Here on this page we hope you find the information you need to plan your Spring Whale watching adventure. Whether its observering the magnificent Blue whales on the Sea of Cortez, Grey Whale Watching in Magdelena Bay or both! Not only are our guides experts when it comes to whales, but also birds plants, and the history of the area as well. By the time you return in the afternoon, not only have you spent time with the largest creatures on earth, you've also seen one of the most beautiful places as well. Discounts are available for groups or folks who join in multiple days of activites.

Blue Whale Watching, Sea of Cortez

Welcome to the Loreto National Marine Park. Every spring this beautiful reserve plays host to many different species of whales and dolphins. Each year we find the whales in different parts of the park, but it doesn't take long for our experienced guides to figure out where that is. We leave early in the morning (its easier to see the spouts as the sun rises) and after a few hours of exploring the park and being with the whales we head for the nearest beach. From there we stop for lunch (provided by Sea and Land) and we take the opportunity to snorkel, hike, or just enjoy the remote beauty of these desert islands.

Grey Whale Watching, Baja California Sur

Join us for a wonderful adventure to Magdelena Bay. We travel from Loreto over to the Pacific Side of the Baja. Along the way we stop to visit points of interest and photo opportunites. Once we get to the bay we are immediately with the mamma grey whales and babies. Our guides are great at explaining whale behaviors and translating our captains "whale tails". After 2 hours visiting the whales and exploring this beautiful bay we head back to town for a delicious lunch of freshly harvested seafood (chicken and vegetarian options available as well). After lunch we make our way back to Loreto.
