MISSION SAN JAVIER & DESERT TOUR

EXPERIENCE THIS AMAZING JOURNEY INTO THE HEART OF THE SIERRA DE LA GIGANTA MOUNTAINS

MISSION SAN JAVIER AND DESERT TOUR

Travel back in time for a wonderful adventure. Viggé Biaundó is the native name for this oasis where we enter the Sierra de la Giganta. In 1699 Father Miguel de Barco Piccolo first established the mision in this small valley. Mision San Javier is the best preserved of all the Misions in the Californias. Its main church surrounding village and farmland have been here ever since. Our Desert and Mision tour includes stops at points of interest, a delicious lunch of regional cuisine, and an insightful tour of not only the mission but the surrounding orchards and farms as well. This is an experience that is certainly best experienced with an insiders knowledge.

Wow!! On this cruise we get off the ship, see the sites and get back on the ship. This was something totally different! Today we were transported into a completely different world. That was amazing!
