San Javier Mission and Desert Tour

MISSION SAN JAVIER & DESERT TOUR

EXPERIENCE THIS AMAZING JOURNEY INTO THE HEART OF THE SIERRA DE LA GIGANTA MOUNTAINS

Travel back in time for a wonderful adventure. Viggé Biaundó is the native name for this small valley oasis in the Sierra de la Giganta (Mountains of giant women) where in 1699 Father Miguel de Barco Piccolo first established the site. Mission San Javier is the best preserved of all the Missions in the Californias. Our Desert and Mission tour includes stops at points of interest, a delicious lunch of regional cuisine, and an insightful tour of not only the mission but the surrounding orchards and farms as well. This is an experience that is certainly best experienced with an insiders knowledge.
