SEA OF CORTEZ ISLAND TOURS
A voyage into the Loreto National Marine Park is a favorite way to escape the mainland and experience the wild blue yonder of Baja. Come with us on one of our tours to experience the beauty of the Sea of Cortez.
DIVE TOURS, LORETO BAJA
Our divemasters have over 10 years exploring and caring for this beautiful ecosystem in the Loreto National Marine Park. They know the best places to see schools of tropical fish, eel gardens, corals and more. They are also experts when it comes to making you feel right at home despite your previous diving experience. We can provide all the necessary dive equipment to make sure your dive trip is safe and enjoyable. All levels are welcome.
SEA OF CORTEZ SPORTFISHING
There’s nothing quite like getting up early in the morning to head out of the quiet Marina to the local fishing grounds. Summer is a great time for Marlin, Dorado, and Sail Fish. Or you can try your luck and fish for Yellow Tail (Jurel) year round. We also offer the best reef fishing for Trigger Fish, Cabrilla, and Snapper. We can offer you experienced local guides and a comfortable shaded boat with plenty of gear and cold drinks all around.
CORONADO ISLAND SNORKELING
Jaques Cousteau once referred to the Sea of Cortez as "The aquarium of the world". Come explore this "aquarium" on a day trip to Isla Coronado. Within 25 minutes from the Loreto Marina you will be with the Sea Lions of Isla Coronado and exploring bird Rookeries. Snorkeling from the boat is a wonderful way to observe the marine life below. We complete our tour with a picnic stop at a beautiful white sand beach. From there you can snorkel, hike, explore and take in the beautiful scenery.
PADI DIVE COURSES
Sea and Land Eco-tours is the only dive shop in Loreto with 2 certified dive instructors. We offer PADI dive courses and refresher courses for ages 10-? We also offer Introductory dive courses for folks who would like to try diving. Courses are available in English, Spanish and Spanglish. The Loreto Marine Park offeres many different dive sites which makes it a fantastic classroom.
GREY WHALE WATCHING
During the early spring months Grey Whales are calving just off the shores of Magdalena bay. Join us for a day trip from Loreto, over the mountains to the Pacific side. Here we can see these mothers and calves in the protected waters of the bay. Our private van leaves at 8 am and can have you back to Loreto by 4pm. This day also includes an amazing meal of local sea-food.
BLUE WHALE WATCHING TOURS
In the spring we lead educational tours here in the Loreto National Marine Park. besides Blue Whales we may also see dolphins, Fin back whales, Humpbacks and occasionally Orcas. We make a brief stop for lunch and to explore nearby beaches, (which is nice for those of us who do not wish to be on a boat for 6 straight hours).
"Dear Juve and Sarah, thanks so much for the great dive on Sunday! We had a great time and hope that you will come and dive with us in our area"
