Trip Itinerary
Tours begin early to take advantage of low light angles (easier to see spouts) and smooth water. We can adjust start times for cruisers and late arrivals but earlier is better. Full refund for weather cancellations. If wind comes up during tour we make pick up arrangements.
Be Sure To Bring
Be sure to bring: hat, sunglasses, camera, batteries, sunscreen and layers. Mornings start cool, but afternoons warm up.
A WORD ON DRONES AND WHALE WATCHING
It is AMAZING the footage a drone can take of whales. Scientist have gained so much information (see “snot bot” video here) and without molesting these beautiful creatures. Who they do bother is folks on other boats who have come from all over the world to witness these amazing creatures. If you have a drone you MUST advise us ahead of time. We are happy to find a solo whale with no observers so as not to bother other whale watchers. The Marine Park has not set rules yet for drones and whale watching in the Sea of Cortez but will be forced to if a few folks are careless. Thanks in advance for your understanding.
