Frequently Asked Questions
Short answer “Yes”. Long answer, if the fishing is often better to the North of town, we’ll suggest meeting in Loreto and can assist with transportation to the Marina.
In order to catch the big guys, we need bait first. The optimal time to catch bait is early in the morning as dawn is breaking. Yes its early, but just remember, it will make that afternoon siesta that much better!
Yes! Tipping is a standard practice and very much appreciated. While there’s a huge range as to how much to tip, 10-15% of your trips total is a safe bet

Trip Itinerary

FANTASTIC FISHING YEAR-ROUND!!
My favorite is Sportfishing. We have a resident population of yellowtail, and the largest ones that make it to the boats can run up to 40plus pounds. The summer season is super exciting, with colorful big fish flying out of the water(and many landing in a frying pan)! Year-round fish include the bottom fish: Pargo (snapper), Cabrilla(sea bass), Pinto bass, Yellowtail, Amberjack, Whitefish, etc. In the summer months, we enjoy fishing for; Dorado, Striped and blue marlin, Sailfish, Roosterfish, Sierra, and occasionally, Wahoo and Yellowfin tuna. Both live bait and many different types of lures are productive. Our captains have generations of experience in the local waters and many tricks to ensure fish catching.

GET THEM HOOKED!!
Do you love to fish? Do you love to see your kids super excited? Then this is the adventure for you and the family. This trip doesn’t go out very far, and the goal is not to catch something that will drag your child overboard (or maybe it is?). Instead, the purpose of this trip is to make kids happy and hopefully catch dinner. We leave at 7:30 am and head for Isla Coronado to see the sea lions, look for dolphins and visit the white sandy beaches. However, along the way, we stop at a few different fishing spots and fish for bottom fish or troll for rockfish. This excellent introduction to fishing will definitely “hook “ the whole family.
