Information for people organizing group tours in Loreto Baja California Sur
First and foremost we would like to say "Thank you" for all the hard work you are putting into your trip to Loreto. You may be a professional travel agent organizing a group of naturalist, a dive club representative, someone organizing a big family vacation or trying to coordinate your friends activity for their day in town on a cruise. It is hard enough to organize a trip for two let alone a trip for 8-40 folks. Here at Sea and Land Tours we can help you with organizing day tours and transportation. The purpose of this page is to answer questions that you or your guest may have regarding tours for groups here in Loreto BCS.
Boats and vans are well maintained, equipt with first aid kids and necessary equipment. All vans and boats are permitted and insured.
We have plenty of equipment, vehicles and staff to accommodate large groups of divers, fisherman, campers, site-seers, etc. You name it we can probably host it.
If booking multiple tours we can be flexible regarding which days we go out on the water to ensure we go on the best weather days. In addition we can accommodate a large array of dietary needs as well.
There are no VIP tours with Sea and Land because each one is a VIP tour. We are commited to the quality of each trip we offer.
We currently have a variety of traditional Mexican Pangas that can hold anywhere from 6 (good for private tours and fishing) to 14 folks. All boats are licensed to operate in the Loreto National Marine Park, and also carry Blue Whale watching permits. Boats have met all safety requirements as set by the Port Captain: life jackets, first aide kits, radio, signal beacon. In addition boats come with storage for personal gear, shade, live wells, ladders and new 4 stroke engines. We have pangas that can hold up to twelve divers and are specifically designed with diving in mind. In addition our captains are specially trained to work with Dive Groups.
Currently we operate four fifteen passenger vans locally in Loreto and throughout Baja California Sur. We have Federally licensed vans and chofers who can provide transfers to and from Airports and Marinas throughout the Mexican Republic. All vans are air conditioned and carry a first aide kit, repair kit, and spare tire. In addition to airport transport, common ground activities for groups are San Javier Mision Tour, Grey Whale Watching in Magdelena Bay, and if you have an active crew hiking to the Cave Paintings of Canipole. In the Spring we provide transport for groups to San Ignacio Town.
All day tours include food, drinks, necessary equipment, and National Marine Park passes (for Sea Tours). In addition for large groups to Isla Coronados we can arrange for a fish barbecue at the beach. Not included: gratuity to captain or guide and alchohol (beers can be arranged for).
We realize that ships come in at different times and may not fall in line with our posted schedule. No worries. On cruise ship days we have special trips and starting times for cruisers. Please feel free to sign up for your tour and let us know in the comments section that you are coming from the ship. We'll be sure to let you know the modified program.
